With the Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s Color of Hope Gala coming up on Aug. 5, we decided to ask our friends over at Tesori how to wear this year’s color – blue! Tesori owners Erin Bridges and Lindsey Stavely say the popular shades of blue this season are navy, cobalt and turquoise. The stylish duo suggests going bold in an all blue cocktail dress, but if you want to stay subtle, go for pops of blue in your shoes or accessories. Some colors that go well with blue are white, fuchsia and gold.
To help beat the heat while still looking stylish, Erin and Lindsey say to stick to cool, light fabrics like silk that’s breezy. Of course your man also needs to wear blue to this particular event. Encourage him to wear shades of blue in his tie, pocket square and even socks. If he really wants to be daring, blue shoes would be a hit.
