General Mills’ Bentonville Area Community Involvement Team hosted its inaugural Volunteer Fair Nov. 10 at the General Mills office in Rogers.

The objective of the volunteer fair was to connect employees with their passions to give back to the area via individual volunteering, team activities or family engagement. Representatives from 12 nonprofits that partner with General Mills were set up at various booths to chat about their programs and volunteer opportunities with employees, along with workers from surrounding businesses. Jamie Needham, marketing communications senior planner at General Mills, said General Mills wants to show other offices how employees can get involved in their community.

Hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies were served.
