Mountain Sprout recently played a benefit show for Peace at Home Family Shelter on July 14 at George’s Majestic Lounge. The show raised over $600 in donations, which will help women and children who have survived domestic violence.

The band played on behalf of Paul Reynolds, who won a performance by the band during the auction at Top Chefs & Rock Stars, an annual fundraiser for Peace at Home that brings together the best in local cuisine and music in NWA. The shelter was pleased to have the help of Mountain Sprout and Mr. Reynolds.

“The show was great,” said Amy Michaud, Development Director for Peace at Home. “The band did well, people had fun, and we raised funds to help women and children create new, peaceful lives for themselves.”
