It’s easy to take one piece from your closet and style three different ways during the holiday season. I am showing you three ways to style a simple black skirt for casual, work and girls night holiday events using pieces from local boutiques. Tip: You can switch out the skirt for jeans for three more looks.

Casual

Whether you’re headed to the Fayetteville square to see the beautiful lights or going to dinner with friends, this is the perfect outfit. I love wearing Hunter boots with skirts and plaid tops for the holidays. This type of look is equal parts cute and comfortable. Faux fur vests are also staples during the holiday season, and I love how this black one compliments the outfit. Don’t forget your beanie for those frigid holiday nights!

Girls-Night

Girls night holiday parities are my favorite to dress for. I paired my Loft skirt with a Christmas-green top and my favorite over-the-knee boots. Over-the-knee boots are fantastic for elongating the legs and add a bit of edge to your look. I topped off my look with a beautiful faux fur coat from Lola. This piece makes a statement and will keep you warm at the same time.

 Work

I chose a gorgeous red top from The Label to wear with my Loft skirt. The top is modest but the cutouts at the shoulders adds a playful touch. To add a bit of sparkle, I topped the look off with a sequin blazer.
