Kim Umber was recently promoted to Marketing Officer for Liberty Bank’s Northwest Arkansas division, according to Howard Hamilton, Regional President and Chief Operating Officer.
Umber will be located in Liberty Bank’s new Northwest Arkansas regional banking center at the corner of Joyce Boulevard and Vantage Drive. Scheduled to open Spring 2013, the two-story, full-service banking center will include trust, mortgage and lending services.
Umber has served as branch coordinator of Liberty Bank’s Bentonville banking center since 2009. Throughout her 10 year banking career, Umber has earned numerous sales, service and branch manager awards.
“We are extremely happy to have Kim assume the role of marketing officer,” stated Hamilton. “Her leadership experience and knowledge of the banking industry will make her a tremendous asset to our marketing team,” Hamilton added.
Umber attended North Arkansas College and Northwest Arkansas Community College. She also completed several highly regarded management certification courses.
Active in her community, Umber is a member of Springdale Noon Rotary, Ladies of Grace, and Cross Church Springdale. She has served as the Bentonville-Bella Vista Toastmaster Club president and two years as director of Blessing Baskets.
Umber and her husband, Greg, have three grown children and one grandson.
