Premier Dermatology strives to live up to its name by providing patients with the best medical dermatology and cosmetic treatments available, and adding staff members is no exception. Dr. Missy Clifton and Dr. Kattie Allen of Premier Dermatology recently welcomed three new staff members to the organization: Dr. Rebekah Baltz, Jenny Simmons, P.A.-C and Elaina Scamardo, LMT.

 

  • Dr. Rebekah Baltz, dermatologist and Russellville native, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she was the recipient of The Roberts Key Award for having the highest grade point average during all four years of medical school. Dr. Baltz specializes in general and surgical dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, American Medical Association, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Baltz will begin seeing patients in September in Fayetteville and Bentonville.

 

 

  • Jenny Simmons, P.A.-C, received her Bachelor of Science degree from Harding University in Searcy in 2004 and her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. She trained under Dr. Scott Dinehart at The Arkansas Dermatology/Skin Cancer Center in Little Rock for over 7 years. There she learned medical and surgical dermatology, Mohs repairs, comprehensive patch testing, and advanced diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers and other diseases of the skin. She has worked locally for the last few years further honing her skills in medical dermatology. Simmons is a board certified Physician Assistant and has earned Diplomat status with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants for her special knowledge of and advanced training in the specialty of dermatology. She is currently accepting new patients in Bella Vista and Bentonville.

 

 

  • Elaina Scamardo, LMT, joins The Spa at Premier team with over 9 years of massage experience. She received her training to become a licensed massage therapist from the White River School of Massage in Fayetteville in 1999. Since then, Scamardo has been diligent in continuing her education to advance her knowledge and techniques. She specializes in a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep, hot stone, sports, prenatal, lymphatic, cranial sacral, and neuromuscular. With her vast portfolio, Scamardo is able to develop unique massage experiences to fit individual needs. She is now available for massage appointments in Fayetteville and Bentonville.
