Fayetteville, AR — Young and old will have a sensational family experience on April 24th at the Abbott Nutrition RazorFest … and, it’s all FREE. From noon to 5:30 pm there will be so many activities at Reynolds Razorback Stadium that you might forget to slow down in time for the Red-White game at 6pm.

“This is a record breaking year for the amount of activities at RazorFest, there will be games, inflatables, live music, autographs, mascots and giveaways. Nearly 35 high energy Zones for kids to choose from. That’s our highest number yet!” said, Rick Schaeffer, co-founder of Champions for Kids.

The day kicks-off at noon with the THIS Day Campaign Launch, hosted by Energizer, at the Main Stage in the north parking lot. The THIS Day Campaign will help make visible the needs of children nationally and in our local communities. The Main Stage will then host Stage One Entertainment, featuring Show Tunes, Country, Pop and Broadway sets until 5 pm.

The stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. for the all-day extravaganza. The majority of attractions will present unique health and wellness experiences that encourage kids to lead healthy lives. Included are the THIS Day Go Kids Go Healthy Challenge:
Presented by Abbott Nutrition, Walmart, Disney and Heinz, Dial/UA Alumni Wii Sports in the Henkel Cares Zone, Tyson Sports Zone, AMP it up Zone, Bagel Bites Soccer Challenge, The Soccer Stop by Lazonadeportiva, Coca-Cola Chill Zone, 360NWA Human Bowling, Arkansas Blue & You Locker Room & Quarterback Challenge, Peekaboo Playground and the Army Climbing Wall. Most of the vendors will provide giveaways and fitness tips.

Families can capture the day’s memories in the Bedford Photo Tent or the seat of the Wells Fargo Advisors Stagecoach. The 40/29 Junior Sportscaster and Weathercaster Zone will send you home with live footage of your budding news anchor. Kids Directory will have magicians, balloons and airbrushing. Make sure you visit the Pig Rig and meet and greet you favorite Clear Channel DJ’s. If singing and dancing is more your style, head over to the Encore Kids Performing Arts Stage.

This year the Heinz VIP Suite will be hosted by Jennie-O Turkey, Connecting NWA, Wells Fargo Advisors LLC & 3W Magazine.
Autograph seekers can visit the Wheaties Autograph Zone where Razorback head coach Bobby Petrino, athletic director Jeff Long and numerous former Razorback standouts will rotate throughout the day.

THIS Day will also provide opportunities to distribute essential resources to ensure youth Finish Strong! THIS Day will provide fun health and fitness opportunities for youth and their families. THIS Day will provide information and access to nutritious foods. THIS Day is not just a day for youth, it is a day supported and planned with our youth.

Our flagship event, The Abbott Nutrition RazorFest, is the beacon for all that Champions for Kids does—reminding us that on THIS Day, this state-wide, free family event will mobilize 40,000-plus people to provide resources and opportunities benefiting children’s health. Proceeds from this event support the Global Leadership Initiative Fellows Program—an intensive one-year fellowship to help some of America’s most promising leaders strengthen and expand innovative solutions to improve the lives of children in America and beyond.
