The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) is pleased to announce auditions for the SoNA Singers, an auditioned group of the region’s best choral singers. Led by Director Terry Hicks — one of Arkansas’ most respected choral conductors — this ensemble performs choral works, both a cappella and with orchestral accompaniment. It also serves as the anchor of the larger SoNA Chorale, which performs choral masterworks with the Symphony, conducted by SoNA Music Director Paul Haas.
The 2013-14 SoNA Singers will perform at SoNA’s Christmas Concert on December 14, and at the Masterworks II concert on March 8 featuring Brahms’ A German Requiem, as well as their own concert of choral music. Rehearsals will be held weekly on Sunday afternoons.
Audition dates are September 28 and October 1, 2013.
Contact Terry Hicks via email at email@example.com to set up an audition time or for more information.
