It would be a Big Mistake to miss “The Big Party ” on April 9, 2010 at the Dickson Street Theater. This casual and lively event hosted by the Fayetteville Junior Civic League is the event of the season. Show off your fancy footwear on the dance floor as “Tragikly White” (voted best dance band in the mid-south) rocks it out. At only $50/ticket, this sizzling event includes heavy hors d’oeuvres in a hip, contemporary atmosphere. More than 400 people are expected to attend and the League aims to raise over $50,000 to benefit local children and family services. The Bank of Arkansas and Whitlock Orthodontics are generously sponsoring the event along with numerous other businesses and individuals.
More than 100 silent auction packages will be sold, and proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit 10 charitable nonprofit organizations.
