On May 12, many from the Northwest Arkansas community celebrated the grand opening of The Ravington, a newly renovated historic building in downtown Centerton. The 7,100 square-foot two-story building was built in 1909 as a general store and has since housed a grocery store, hardware store, church, salon, antique store, rabbit factory, auction house, and now an events venue.

Northwest Arkansas natives Eric and Amber Gustafson purchased the building with the goal of supplying NWA with a unique event space. They created a modern, elegant atmosphere while keeping the historic building’s original charm. The Ravington features exposed brick walls, 18-foot high ceilings, reclaimed wood flooring, stained glass windows and hand crafted furniture. The venue includes a dreamy bridal boudoir, gentlemen’s lounge, landscaped courtyard, and a large catering prep area that will accommodate each client’s catering preference.

The Gustafsons spent 14 years in Los Angeles where Eric worked as a musician, finish carpenter and a fine furniture builder. Amber founded Amber Events, an upscale wedding and event planning business that planned weddings all over the world.
