This season, The Salvation Army and Tyson Foods, Inc. are partnering to provide Christmas toys and meals to local families in need this season. Tyson Foods will be providing a truckload of protein and 95 bicycles to benefit the 739 families in Northwest Arkansas who will receive Christmas gift assistance this year from The Salvation Army through its Angel Tree program.

“Our main philanthropic focus is hunger relief and we’re so pleased to provide this protein donation,” said Pat Bourke, program manager, corporate social responsibility for Tyson Foods. “The chance to make children’s holidays extra special by providing these bicycles is an added bonus.”

Tyson Foods’ donation will be distributed, along with the Angel Tree gifts, on December 17 and 18.
