ASHLEY STARNES
Owner, Osage House

A Northwest Arkansas native, Ashley Starnes has enjoyed bringing something new and unique to the area. She and her team have held a huge part in over 80 beautiful weddings and events in the past year, and she has been alongside many couples as they navigate the COVID-19 crisis. Her event venue Osage House, designed by her husband John Starnes, captures everything light, white, and elegant for all weddings and events. It is a blank canvas allowing couples to take hold of their day and create the wedding of their dreams. With over 100 events on the books for 2021, Ashley and her team are looking forward to being part of so many special memories to be made. An Enneagram 7, Ashley thrives off of organized chaos, new possibilities and adventure – which comes in handy as a mom of two young boys, 6-year-old Rhett and 4-year-old Remick. Ashley’s natural talent of bringing people together is evident not only in her choice of profession but also in her personal life. She has a passion for supporting and connecting with other moms in Northwest Arkansas, and she greatly values the close friendships she has developed. When she is not balancing her role as a wife, mom and entrepreneur, Ashley enjoys reading, taking barre and spin classes, and brainstorming new and sometimes crazy ideas!

What do you do when you are not working?
When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging with my husband John and my boys, Rhett and Remick. We love to be outside exploring on the side by side, playing at the creek, and riding bikes.

Where is your happy place?
My happy place is at the lake for an escape, or at the barre at FreeRide Studio, and their virtual classes at home. I’m even installing a barre in our house finally!

Favorite quote:
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Favorite meal:
Probably anything seafood – ahi tuna is my #1, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House has the best in town!

Best time of day for you:
My friends and I laugh about this one often … I am really a middle of the day girl, not a morning person and not a late night person.

Favorite song on your playlist:
Right now, it’s “Good Time” by Niko Moon. We are so ready for warm weather and summer fun, and this song is all about that.

What book is on your bedside table?
The Bible, “The Vision Driven Leader” by Michael Hyatt and “The Last Mrs. Parrish” by Liv Constantine. I love reading and wish I had more time for it!
