KELLY KEMP-MCLINTOCK
Chief Advancement Officer, The Jones Center/Jones Trust

Since 2004, Kelly Kemp-McLintock has served as the Chief Advancement Officer, overseeing all aspects of fundraising, for The Jones Center/Jones Trust. She is one of a select few of individuals in Arkansas to earn the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. In 2014, Kelly was awarded Outstanding Fundraising Executive in NWA by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and in 2016, she was recognized as one of the Top Women in Business by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. Kelly was one of the project leads to submit a Design Excellence Grant to the Walton Family Foundation in 2020.

The Walton Family Foundation awarded the Jones Trust a Design Excellence Grant to re-imagine the 52-acre campus of The Jones Center in Springdale. What does this re-imagining of The Jones Center campus mean to you?
The Design Excellence Grant, funded by the Walton Family Foundation, is allowing the Jones Trust to create a Master Plan Design for our 52-acre downtown Springdale campus. The project will better connect the campus to the downtown Springdale revitalization footprint and to the spine of the Razorback Greenway Trails System. The project allows the organization to re-imagine the campus and vision for the next 25 years as the Northwest Arkansas region continues to grow and evolve. Highlights include extending the downtown trail loop throughout the Jones Campus, creating park-like spaces, adding outdoor fitness/recreation amenities, and public art installations reflective of the Springdale community. We want a campus where everyone feels welcome, just as when founder Bernice Jones opened The Jones Center in 1995.

Where is your happy place?
My happy place is at home with my husband, Ben.

Favorite quote:
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” – Helen Keller

Best time of day for you:
I love the morning time. It always brings a fresh perspective. I enjoy thinking of my day ahead and what all I want to get accomplished.

Favorite song on your playlist:
“How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” by James Taylor. I’ve seen him in concert four times, three of those with Ben. My favorite was at UC Berkeley Greek Theatre.

What book is on your bedside table?
“The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey. I’ve been re-reading it with our Advancement Team at The Jones Center. It’s a wonderful book that can be applied to both your personal and professional life.
