SETH SWAFFORD
Manager of Customer Experience, Shiloh Technologies

Originally from the “self-proclaimed” Folk Music Capital of the World, Seth Swafford grew up in Mountain View. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, he began building a career managing accounts for multiple high profile CPG companies throughout Northwest Arkansas. In 2020, Seth entered into the tech space by becoming the Manager of Customer Experience for Shiloh Technologies.

What do you do when you are not working?
I just built and moved into a new house, so currently I’m inundated with home projects and working on my yard and landscaping. I also love domestic and international travel. My goal is to visit all 50 states before I turn 30.

Where is your happy place?
Being on stage, leading worship, at my church on Sunday mornings. There’s nothing better than that.

Favorite quote:
In a world full of followers, I’ll be a leader. In a world full of doubters, I’ll be a believer.

Favorite meal:
Chicken fajita nachos from pretty much anywhere. If that’s on the menu, I’m ordering it.

Best time of day for you:
Any time of day that I get to be fun uncle Seth to my five nieces and nephews. Sometimes that means dropping flowers or lunch off at school and other times it’s concerts at the Walmart AMP. They keep me young and up to date on everything kids are doing these days.

Favorite song on your playlist:
“Stop This Train” by John Mayer

What book is on your bedside table?
I currently have two. “A Promised Land” by Barack Obama and “The Ride of a Lifetime” by Robert Iger

What nonprofits are you involved with and why?
Currently I’m a member of the Rogers Noon Rotary Club. I love the meaning behind their Four-Way Test and the involvement I get to have in the community through our outreach projects to benefit various nonprofits. I was a direct recipient of Rotary Scholarships when I attended college at the University of Arkansas, so I’m passionate about getting young people involved in Rotary and community service. Hope Cancer Resources also has a special place in my heart. My aunt passed away from cancer in 2018, and I’ll be walking/modeling in her honor at this year’s Gentlemen of Distinction event on Oct. 28.
