What do you do when you are not working?
I love taking in the beauty of the Natural State from a kayak or a four-wheeler. I’m quite fond of international travel and incorporating dishes from our favorite destinations into what I cook at home. I can often be found cooking, baking, reading, or most recently, trying my hand at embroidery.

Where is your happy place?
Anywhere I can put my nose in my Kindle

Favorite quote:
“I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.” – David Bowie

Favorite meal:
Fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, and a cold glass of milk

Best time of day for you:
I’m surprising myself by saying first thing in the morning. Making a caramel latte and reading a few chapters of a book before getting my day started is therapeutic.

Favorite song on your playlist:
“You’ll Be Back” from the “Hamilton” soundtrack

What book is on your bedside table?
Something related to WWII Historical Fiction – I read over a dozen a year!

What nonprofits are you involved with and why?
TheatreSquared – It didn’t take long for my husband and I to fall in love with TheatreSquared. While the new building was under construction, I was asked to help lead a charge to get more young people in NWA familiar with T2, and I don’t think I’ve stopped talking about it since! NexT2 is the young patrons program we founded with a group of amazing young professionals and theater fans to help our generation get “next to” the arts, “next to” the artists and “next to” behind-the-scenes opportunities to engage with the theater.
·         Children’s Safety Center of Washington County – I discovered the CSC through Leadership Fayetteville and the Junior League. I was shocked to learn about the abuse happening here in our own backyard and felt a calling to not only help raise awareness of the issues the CSC tackles, but also to raise money for the vital work they do.
·         Junior League of Northwest Arkansas – After college, I was looking for a way to get involved in the community. JLNWA was a great way to learn valuable skills related to volunteerism, expand my network of like-minded volunteers and learn more about our community’s needs.
·         Arkansas Alumni Association – As a former student body president, my love for my alma mater runs especially deep. I am thrilled to continue to serve the institution I love so much as a member of the National Board of Directors.
