TIM GOSSETT
VP Sales, Walmart/Sam’s Club at Anheuser-Busch

Tim Gossett leads the Walmart and Sam’s Club business for Anheuser-Busch. He’s been with Anheuser-Busch for close to 10 years, in this role for the last five. Prior to working at Anheuser-Busch, Tim held various roles at PepsiCo and IRI. He is married to his wife, Mayumi, who is a psychologist. They have twin daughters who are just starting fourth grade. The family has lived in Chicago, St. Louis, and now NWA.

What do you do when you are not working?
Lots of time with the family. Outside activities, family movie night, taking the kids to the playground

Where is your happy place?
I like to have a beer in the garage with my iPod (yes, iPod) on shuffle. It’s Dad’s time.

Favorite meal:
I’m pretty simple. A good steak, Imo’s Pizza when I’m in St. Louis, or ramen when in Japan visiting the in-laws.

Favorite Anheuser-Busch beverage:
I’m partial to the bitter, hoppy IPAs. I really like our 10 Barrel Apocalypse IPA.

Best time of day for you:
I am most definitely a morning person. I love to get up before anyone else and have a cup of coffee all by myself.

Favorite song on your playlist:
Too many to list, but probably something from my high school days … something from The Clash, The Smiths, or The Jesus and Mary Chain

What book is on your bedside table?
I’m re-reading “Rip It Up and Start Again” by Simon Reynolds, which is about the post-punk scene from 1978 to 1984.

What nonprofits are you involved with and why?
I primarily support Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas to ensure that we have great medical care for the region. It’s important to me as a father, and Mercy is an excellent organization. Anheuser-Busch has been involved with Mercy for over 25 years, and I’m happy to continue that support.
