Restoring Lives: Evening of Impact, held on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at Osage House, was true to its name: funds raised from the evening’s event will directly impact the over 600 clients seen to date at the Children & Family Advocacy Center (CFAC). Over 350 attendees came out in support of the women, children, and families who receive services at the Center each day.

The evening’s programming, presented by Circana and Kellanova, included messaging from Event Chair Heather Clark, VP of Snacks – Walmart, former CFAC client Autumn, Executive Director Natalie Tibbs, and various other supporters who spoke of the crucial services the Center offers to those affected by trauma. The evening was emceed by Jaclyn House, anchor at KNWA, and friend to the CFAC.

New for 2024, guests enjoyed a garden-party experience complete with heavy hors d’oeuvres, live art, and a relaxed atmosphere to truly interact with other supporters as they shared their own why for helping to restore lives impacted by trauma. Upon finding their table, guests had the opportunity to read stories of impact, moments that represent experiences of those seen at the Children & Family Advocacy Center. Together, attendees reached the night’s giving goal, and thanks to a $75,000 match from a long-time friends Doug and Shelley McMillon, funds raised were more than doubled!

As the Center continues to expand its services the need for funds continues to be essential in helping those we serve. Clients who receive services at the Center do so at no cost. We invite you to join us in 2025 to make your impact and see how you can make a difference. Save the date, our event is moving to June and you don’t want to miss it: we’ll see you on June 19, 2025!
