Recess at The Hive

The annual Recess at The Hive fundraising event, hosted by Sam’s Club President and CEO John Furner, will be held on Feb. 24 at The Hive in Bentonville. Comedian Raj Suresh will emcee, and, Cate Gutowski, GE’s Global Vice President of Commercial Sales & Digital Thread and founder of non-profit If You Can See It, You Can Be It, will serve as keynote speaker. The event will also feature a multicourse meal by Chef Matt McClure of The Hive. Reception will be 5-6 p.m., and dinner with program will be 6-9 p.m.

Recess at the Hive is an annual event honoring the legacy of Mrs. Helen Robson Walton and her impact on Northwest Arkansas through the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center. The event is organized by the center’s Development Coalition with the goal of educating attendees on early childhood education and raising funds for the center’s capital campaign. The new Helen R Walton Children’s Enrichment Center will be located on J Street, adjacent to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Scott Family Amazeum.
