Fresh StART is the signature fundraising event of the year for the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter. It perfectly aligns with the mission and programs of the NWAWS as advocates incorporate art as a therapeutic process to help clients (victims), both adult and children, connect with the emotions they have suppressed as a result of abuse they have suffered. Art is a channel for self-identification and for developing self-awareness and a voice.
