The 10th Annual Summer Salsa, benefitting EOA Children’s House of Springdale, was a resounding success with more than 250 people in attendance. The annual event was made possible by lead sponsors Whitlock Orthodontics, Merck Consumer Care, Coca-Cola and George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville.
Guests enjoyed a festive menu from Catering Unlimited and a Salsa Bar provided by My Brother’s Salsa of Rogers. George’s provided a lively setting with music by Ultra Suede and unique silent auctions were up for bid, including six original watercolor paintings created by the children receiving treatment at EOA Children’s House.
Emcee John George welcomed guests and also led the evening’s “Fill The Tank” Auction appeal, which raised more than $8,200 to support the daily transportation services EOA Children’s House provides to bring the children to and from the center. In all, more than $51,000 was raised to support EOA Children’s House of Springdale’s only daytime, long-term therapeutic treatment and education center for abused and neglected children ages 18 months to 5 years.
