Peace at Home’s annual Courage Awards Luncheon is back in-person! The nonprofit invites you to celebrate Domestic Violence Awareness Month at this lunch featuring an inspiring program about the families helped with your support of Peace at Home Family Shelter! The luncheon is Thursday, Oct. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fayetteville Public Library Event Center. Tickets to this event are free, but registration is required.
This year, the Courage Awards honors the memory of beloved community member, Candy Clark. Candy spent her life advocating for the safety of animals and survivors of domestic violence. Her legacy will continue through the spirit of the Candy Clark Pet Sanctuary, a new project to keep survivors and their pets together and safe.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Candy Clark Pet Sanctuary – if you or your place of employment would like to support this event by sponsoring, please contact me at eterry@peaceathomeshelter.com.
