As part of Domestic Violence Awareness month in October, the Junior League of NWA is hosting the annual “Little Black Dress Campaign,” designed to make domestic violence unfashionable! Participants will raise awareness on the limits domestic violence can play on your resources, your options and your opportunities for employment. During this week, the organization asks community participants to wear the same BLACK dress for a week to bring awareness to the domestic violence issue and symbolize one of the many struggles victims in our community may face. Share support on social media by using the hashtags #LBDvsDV and #JLNWA to help spread the word! For more details, visit www.juniorleaguenwa.org/littleblackdress.
