National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside each year to pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy has made to better the lives of individuals, communities, and the world.
The Northwest Arkansas Chapter is recognizing eleven local individuals and organizations that make a big difference in the NWA community, including:
-Outstanding Fundraising Executive: Rhonda Fincher Wotowis
-Outstanding Corporation: Henry Eye Clinic
-Outstanding Foundation: Arkansas Community Foundation – Fayetteville Area Affiliate
-Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Individual: Evan Lee
-Outstanding Youth In Philanthropy – Organization: Sigma Phi Epsilon – Arkansas Alpha Chapter
-Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser: Jane Gearhart
-Lifetime Achievement Award: Johnelle Hunt
