National Philanthropy Day Awards Celebration

A beacon of benevolence illuminates the horizon as the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Northwest Arkansas Chapter, proudly presents the 2023 National Philanthropy Day Awards Celebration, presented by Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, Inc. is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at Fayetteville Public Library. This esteemed event shines a spotlight on the transformative power of philanthropy and the dedicated individuals and organizations shaping a brighter future for Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Dedication, compassion, and impact converge as the AFP Northwest Arkansas Chapter commends trailblazers who have championed the spirit of giving. With each passing year, these visionaries redefine the meaning of altruism and community service. This year’s luminary awardees are:

· Outstanding Philanthropists: Kelly and Marti Sudduth – Recognized for their unwavering support, nominated by Walton Arts Center.

· Lifetime Philanthropic Achievement: Reed and Mary Ann Greenwood – Honoring a legacy of contribution, nominated by UAMS.

· Outstanding Volunteer Fundraisers: Jennifer and Hunter Yurachek – Celebrating dedicated service, nominated by Arkansas Children’s Foundation.

· Outstanding Fundraising Executive: Frankie Rankin, Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA – Commending exceptional leadership, nominated by Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA.

· Outstanding Corporation: C&C Services – Applauding corporate compassion, nominated by Fayetteville Public Education Foundation.

· Youth Philanthropy Award: Individual: Luke Michael McFadden – Inspiring the next generation, nominated by Mercy Health Foundation.

· Youth Philanthropy Award: Group: Walker Elementary School’s K-Kids Club – Fostering collective giving, nominated by Circle of Life.

· Outstanding Philanthropic Organization: Fayetteville Junior Civic League – Recognizing philanthropic impact, co-nominated by Peace at Home Family Shelter and the Children’s Safety Center.

· Legacy Award: Jerry and Doris Hughey – Honoring a lasting contribution, nominated by The Salvation Army.
