Purple for a Purpose

The Junior League of Northwest Arkansas 8th annual Purple for a Purpose 10K & 5K is set for Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023. The chip-timed 10K race will start at 8 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park in Fayetteville with the 5K to follow at 8:05 a.m. The race course will run along the Lake Fayetteville trail and is stroller accessible. This year’s event will also include a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk that will begin at 8:10 a.m., perfect for kids and those who prefer a slower pace.

This event will kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month for the region with the goals of educating Northwest Arkansas on the impact domestic violence has on our community and determining how we can work together to end it. Just as the JLNWA empowers the women within our league, we want to empower the community and domestic violence survivors to take a stand.
