Purple for a Purpose 5K & Fun Run

The third annual Purple for a Purpose 5K and Fun Run is a running event to raise awareness around the issue of domestic violence here in our community. The chip-timed race will start at 8:00am at Veterans Memorial Park in Fayetteville with the Fun Run/Walk to follow at 8:05am. The race course will run along the Lake Fayetteville trail and is stroller accessible. Not interested in running 3.1 miles? In addition to the 5K, this year’s event will include a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk, perfect for kids and those who prefer a slower pace.
