The founders are a group of friends who turned an annual get together into a charity event benefiting the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County, a cause that holds a special meaning in their hearts. Each year they host a crawfish boil at Kingfish on Dickson Street in Fayetteville where they collect donations, sell event t-shirts and raffle off prizes with all proceeds benefiting the Children’s Safety Center. Last year, the event raised almost $8,000 and a total of $15,000 over the past four years combined.
A donation made at the door will get you all the crawfish and gumbo you can eat. You can also purchase event t-shirts and raffle tickets for prizes and listen to local bands rock the day away.
