Will Golf 4 Kids and Gala of Hope (formerly Color of Hope Gala)

Champions for children attending this year’s annual golf tournament and gala benefiting Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) are in for exciting new changes! Plus, for the first time since 2019, both events will be back in person.

The 29th annual Will Golf 4 Kids will be held Thursday, Aug. 3, and Friday, Aug. 4, at the Dogwood and Kingwood Golf Courses in Bella Vista, with morning and afternoon shotgun starts, legendary goody bags and opportunities to network with other champions for children in the region. The 2023 golf chairs are Mike Sewell with Market Performance Group, Tony Murphy with Acosta, and honorary co-chairs Silvia Azrai Kawas, Executive Vice President of Consumables Health & Wellness at Walmart, and Will McDonald, Vice President of Divisional Merchandise Manager, Beverages at Walmart.

And, for the first time, this year’s Will Golf 4 Kids is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Play Yellow tournament! The winning foursome will qualify for the Play Yellow Invitational in October of this year, hosted by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus.

The 15th annual gala also returns with a brand-new format and location on Friday, Aug. 4. Instead of being guided by color as in years past, the event has been reimagined as Gala of Hope — a black-tie, casino evening at the Fayetteville Public Library, featuring a highly curated dining experience in an intimate setting along with impressive live and silent auctions.

This high-end, high-stakes evening is hosted by 2023 chairs Julie and Patrick Swope, and in true James Bond style, will transport guests to the gilded glamour and international grandeur of the Casino Royale. Guests will be treated to games of chance, like blackjack and roulette, in a lavish casino setting, and the evening’s ultimate winners will be the children treated at ACNW.
