SUMMARY:Lights of the Ozarks
DESCRIPTION:During the holiday season\, downtown Fayetteville is turned into a sparkling wonderland. The community gathers to enjoy a parade\, carolers\, carriage rides\, street vendors and more. Starting November 20\, the Fayetteville square is illuminated by half a million lights from 5 pm to 1 am. \nThe Lights of the Ozarks parade is organized by the University of Arkansas Hospitality Management students with support from the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau. The Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission coordinates all other events during the festival.

DESCRIPTION:All aboard for an adult only happy hour train ride the Thursday night before the Children’s Christmas Train event. This ride is focused on sharing the story of the Children’s Christmas Train and the Children’s Safety Center that will benefit from the funds raised this year. This fun filled evening includes live holiday entertainment\, light hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages. This event is open to everyone. Free babysitting is provided by the Children’s Safety Center.
