DESCRIPTION:The annual Will Golf 4 Kids Tournament is Aug. 4-5 and first-ever TV broadcast of the annual Color of Hope Gala on KNWA is Aug. 6. Both events raise funds for hematology and oncology services at Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW). \nThe socially distanced\, in-person Will Golf 4 Kids tournament will be held Thursday\, Aug. 4\, and Friday\, Aug. 5\, at Bella Vista Country Club and Kingswood Golf Course. \nThen\, Saturday\, Aug. 6\, gather your friends and put on your favorite shade of pink for the 2022 Color of Hope’s virtual gala\, chaired by Tamara and John Roberts. \nYou’ll tune in to KNWA from 7-8 p.m. for the first-ever TV broadcast of the Color of Hope Gala\, which will include highlights from the Concert of Hope featuring GRAMMY-nominated\, multi-platinum and CMA New Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen. \nYou’ll also hear from some of Arkansas Children’s Northwest’s own Healthcare Heroes and learn more about this year’s Champion Child\, 5-year-old Carter Harris. Carter was diagnosed with cancer on his 4th birthday in January 2021. \nAnd remember: you don’t have to attend either event to make a donation or participate in the auctions.
