DESCRIPTION:The Best Friends Pet Resource Center is breaking the mold — and the blueprint — of traditional animal shelters. This revolutionary space will transform the way that shelters serve pets and engage communities in saving lives. \nJoin Best Friends Animal Society for the Dusty Paws Tour on either April 7 or 8 at 1312 Melissa Drive in Bentonville. You’ll be the first to see how some truly unique features — including the adoption space\, enrichment rooms for dogs and cats\, transport area and volunteer bridge — will come together. Since construction has been humming along\, we expect both the main building and the veterinary services clinic to be at various stages of framing and drywalling during the tours. \nThe Dusty Paws Tours will run in small groups of five to eight people and will be approximately 30 minutes each. Please note that you’ll be standing and walking in a construction area. Attendees will be provided with hard hats and must wear closed-toe shoes to join a tour. \nBest Friends Animal Society is building a welcoming and inclusive place that will become a point of pride for the region and a model of community-supported sheltering for the entire nation.
