Everett Maxey Buick Pontiac GMC held an open house last night to celebrate the dealership being named 2011 General Motors Dealer of the Year. Clay Maxey accepted the award from Eric Cunningham, regional sales and marketing manager for GM, who was on hand at the event. Clay attributed his team at Everett Maxey for the dealership’s success. Bentonville High School Football Coach Barry Lunney also spoke about the importance of teamwork and winning. Coach Lunney is a longtime friend and customer of the dealership.
The award, given to only two percent of Chevrolet, Buik, GMC and Cadillac dealers in the South Central region, is the dealership’s first. To receive Dealer of the Year recognition, Everett Maxey was seen as a top performer in sales and customer service, and also showed a commitment to these areas on a long-term basis by retaining customers. Everett Maxey is the only GM dealer in Northwest Arkansas to receive this award.
