April 1, 2024, marks one year of success and community support for Marrs Mercantile, the renovated historic bank building turned retail space owned by stars of HGTV’s “Fixer to Fabulous,” Jenny and Dave Marrs. Marrs Mercantile is excited to offer fans and loyal customers a week of events, activities, and daily specials. Starting April 1 and going through April 7, the store has lots of fun surprises and scheduled events for everyone near or far. Since the beginning, Marrs Mercantile has been a place for Jenny and Dave Marrs to showcase their favorite things and their favorite makers from the Northwest Arkansas region, handcrafted goods from the US, and more recently from Italy as their new show Fixer to Fabulous Italiano began a six-episode series March 12. From one-of-a-kind home decor to artisan jewelry, to vintage Turkish rugs, wooden toys and thoughtful gifts, the Marrs Mercantile provides a unique selection of high-quality goods and has become a destination for shoppers looking for home decor and gifts for loved ones.
“We can’t believe it’s been a year since we first opened our doors, and we are so grateful for every single guest who has stepped inside,” Jenny and Dave Marrs said. “It’s been a joy sharing this place with so many guests and we look forward to many more years celebrating community and hard-working artisans at the mercantile!”
Scheduled events for the week include a “TV Night” on the Marrs Mercantile patio and playground for an outdoor screening of the “Fixer To Fabulous” episode, “Historic Bank Building Turned Mercantile” at 7:30 p.m. April 3. The Mercantile will be extending their hours until 7:30 p.m. April 3 and has invited featured local artists and makers to be in store to spend time with the community.
On April 5, Marrs Mercantile will be participating in Downtown Bentonville’s First Friday. Visitors can stop by the square in Bentonville 3-9 p.m. and pick up a pair of eclipse viewing glasses in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening the following Monday.
Saturday, April 6, Jenny and Dave Marrs will be at Marrs Mercantile to thank the community and their fans for their incredible support over the last year. The time is TBD but will be announced on Marrs Mercantile social media channels ahead of time.
