Want to get to know a few of Parkhill’s doctors? We recently chatted with three amazing ones: Dr. Lindsey Seale, Dr. Julian “Tony” Terry and Dr. James Gorman.

Dr. Lindsey Seale

Dr. Lindsey Seale has been with Parkhill since June 2002. Though she practices obstetrics and gynecology, obstetrics is her favorite part of the job.

Lindsey chose to be an OB/GYN because it allows her to have long-standing relationships with patients over the course of their lives and often times the lives of their daughters and sisters, she says.

Lindsey was born in Memphis and raised in Harrison. She’s been in Northwest Arkansas for 17 years and currently lives in Springdale with her husband Greg and their two children. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family.

We asked Lindsey 13 questions to find out a little more about her.

“I was very fortunate that when I was graduating from residency at UAMS in 2011, Parkhill was looking to expand. I feel as if it is a perfect match for me,” he says. “I get to take care of the best patients, with the best partners and staff.”

Tony was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and grew up in Greenville, Mississippi. He now lives in Fayetteville with his wife and their three children. “My partners and I are friends in and out of the office,” he says. “Our staff is an extension of our families.”

He’s originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Fayetteville in 1997. James and his wife dated through high school and college, were married in his third year of medical school, and just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. They have three daughters. 1. Call or text? Please call me. If it’s not convenient I won’t answer, but you can tell me what is on your mind.
  2. Favorite trip you’ve ever taken? My wife and I enjoy travel, and the most enjoyable trip was to Nice, France. The old town charm combined with the restaurants, history and Mediterranean Sea was the perfect adventure.
  3. Who is your biggest inspiration? Joseph Kanerak, M.D. is my greatest inspiration. He is a pediatrician who cared for my siblings and I growing up. He is a Holocaust survivor, and he always encouraged us to pursue professional careers.
  4. Favorite cocktail? While my wife enjoys different types of vodka martinis, I am partial to an ice-cold bottle of beer.
  5. Beach or mountains? I love the beach. The beach is great because, when you get there, it’s ready for fun.
  6. Appetizer or dessert? Appetizer. Desserts make me sleepy.
  7. Best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I received was to follow my passion and specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. I was in my third year of medical school and trying to decide what to pursue for my residency. With that guidance, I was confident in my choices.
  8. Gold or silver? Gold; it’s just prettier.
  9. Favorite movie? “The Lion King.” My daughter and I saw it the first time on Dec. 8, 1994. It was the day after I passed my oral board exams. This movie is a great combination of courage and determination.
  10. Eat in or dine out? I don’t mind eating out, but I prefer dining in.
  11. Comedy or drama? I like comedy and drama, but I appreciate happy endings.
  12. Early bird or night owl? I developed into a night owl growing up, and I think this has made it easier to enjoy my practice in obstetrics.
  13. What makes you smile the most? I smile the most when my wife, daughters and I are around the dining room table. I am impressed with each of them, and what they have accomplished. But I really get a kick out of their unique communication that not even I can translate.
