Arts Center of the Ozarks is looking for models for the 2013 American Girl Fashion Show!
The Arts Center of the Ozarks’ Model Search will be held on Sunday, August 25 at the Arts Center of the Ozarks from 1 to 3 p.m.
Clothing is provided in size 10 and 6X:
Size 10-Height 54”-56” tall. Size 10 girls will model American Girl historical and contemporary clothing.
Size 6X-Height 46” to 48” tall. Size 6X girls will model American Girl Little Girl Clothing line.
All models will be required to attend one to two rehearsals prior to the show. More information regarding fittings and rehearsal times will be announced at a later date.
Models may be required to supply footwear and socks/tights depending on the costume.
We are looking for girls with poise, confidence and a smile who would enjoy walking down a runway in front of an audience of 250 guests.
The Arts Center of the Ozarks invites girls and their friends and families to experience the American Girl Fashion Show on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 & 6, at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in downtown Springdale. This fun, engaging program showcases historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls. Proceeds from the event will benefit children’s programming at the ACO.
Approximately 70 local models will present the fashions, while lively commentary, music and decorations will create a memorable experience for girls and their families. Audiences will delight in historical clothing, from daywear to sleepwear to special-occasion clothing that resembles what the popular American Girl characters: Kaya, Josephina, Addy, Rebecca, Kit, Molly, and Julie might have worn. Contemporary “Just like You” outfits for older girls and sweet Bitty Baby fashions for little ones complete the program.
