When you’re invited to a party hosted by Danyelle Musselman and Mandy Macke, of course you go. We put on our cutest red attire and went ready to cheer on the Hogs!
The Razorback cheer squad kicked things off in style (or should we say spirit?). It’s no surprise last night’s #MussBusVsCancer event – at the home of Danyelle and Arkansas Basketball Coach Eric Musselman – raised nearly $25,000 for the American Cancer Society. Danyelle is national co-chair of the Coaches vs. Cancer wives initiative. This week is #SuitsAndSneakers Week, a nationwide event that unites basketball coaches across the country for a common cause – saving lives from cancer.
Only 100 guests were invited to this exclusive party, which included a silent auction (our favorite was the chance to win Coach Musselman recording our voicemail message, but we got outbid), raffles and dinner fare by Elite Catering. There was also a Kendra Scott jewelry area and obviously the entertainment, watching the Arkansas vs. Mississippi State basketball game. Even though Coach Musselman was at the game, he was still at the party via a lifesize cutout that partygoers posed with for pictures. Cheers to Mary Ann Greenwood, who went home with the cutout.
