It’s time to sign up for the 15th annual Komen Ozark Race for the Cure on April 27, 2013!

Participants can sign up to run a 10K, Competitive 5K, 5K Run/Walk, 1 mile family fun walk or bring your dog and Bark for the Cure. Lace up those shoelaces and help us make an impact!

 

Registration

The Race Registration office is now open at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall in Rogers.  The hours to the race office are; Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.  Registration is open up until race day!

You can also still sign up online at www.komenozark.org it is easy and what you are doing may save a life!

 

Race Day Events

Survivor Breakfast

The Survivor Breakfast will start at 7:00am and is a drop-in breakfast ending at 9:00am.  The breakfast will be in the Food Pavilion and is open to breast cancer survivors and co-survivors only.

 

10K

The 10K RUN will start at 7:30am.  Runners of the 10K will have a green bib and a chip for timing.  The start line is located behind the theater on Bellview Road.  You must have a race bib on in order to participate in the race.

 

Competitive 5K

The 5K Competitive Race will start at 8:00am.  Runners of the 5 K will have a blue bib and a chip for timing.  The start line is located behind the theater on Bellview Road.  You must have a race bib on in order to participate in the race.

 

Bark for the Cure

The Bark for the Cure walk starts at 8:00am in the parking lot in front of Petsmart.  You are required keep your dog on a leash at at all times and you must have a race bib on in order to participate in the race.

 

5K Run/Walk

The untimed 5K Run/Walk will start at 8:30am.  The starting line is located behind the theater on Bellview Road.  You must have a race bib on in order to participate in the race.

 

1-Mile Family Fun Walk

The 1-Mile Family Fun Walk will begin at 9:00am.  You must have a race bib on in order to participate in the race.

 

Kids for the Cure

Kids 12 and under, along with their parents, are invited to join the fun at the Komen Kids for the Cure area on race day.  This kids friendly area will feature food, fun and activities for the entire family. You must have a race bib on in order to participate in Kids for the Cure.

 

Teens for the Cure

The Teens for the Cure program allows teens to register at a reduced rate and get a special “Teens for the Cure” shirt.  Teens can register with their school or organization.  All Teens must have a race bib on in order to participate in Teens for the Cure.

 

Sleep in for the Cure

Busy on race day?  Not a morning person?  Register for Sleep in for the Cure and your race shirt will be mailed to you!

Komen for the Cure raises awareness and funds to support our PROMISE of saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. The Ozark Affiliate serves 8 counties in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley which include Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Madison, Newton, Sebastian and Washington. In addition, we serve Stone and Taney Counties in Missouri.
