Arkansas Children’s Hospital announced Richalle and Marshall Ney as the chairs of the 2013 Color of Hope Charity Gala. The Gala, held in conjunction with the Will Golf 4 Kids tournament, is set for Friday, August 23, 2013. The combined events raised $835,000 in 2012 for ACH.

A host couple for the 2012 Gala, the Neys have supported ACH for several years, including Marshall’s current service as a member of the ACH Foundation’s board of directors. In planning the Color of Hope Gala, the Neys join Mike Sewell of Novartis and Kyden Reeh of Bayer, chairs of the Will Golf 4 Kids tournament.

Marshall and Richalle are native Arkansans and have lived in Northwest Arkansas since 2002, when Marshall joined the Walmart Legal Department. Today, he is a partner with Mitchell Williams Law Firm in Rogers and leads their litigation practice group. Marshall holds the highest available peer review rating of AV and has been named a “Best Lawyer in America” and “Mid-South Super Lawyer.”

Richalle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, specializing in federal and state income tax matters. She has worked for Deloitte & Touche and Alltel Corporation and currently serves as Senior Tax Manager for Walmart Stores, Inc.

Both Marshall and Richalle are active members of the NWA community. From 2003 to 2011, Marshall served as an elected member of the Bentonville Public Schools Board of Education, where he formed “Bentonville Kids Come First” and chaired the Bentonville School District’s successful millage campaign in 2012. Most recently, Marshall served as spokesperson and legal counsel for Keep Dollars in Benton County and was named a Gentleman of Distinction by Hope Cancer Resources. Richalle has been an active volunteer for Charity Challenge of Champions, serving most recently as treasurer.

“We are thrilled to be working with Marshall and Richalle on the 2013 Color of Hope Gala,” said Fred Scarborough, president of the ACH Foundation. “They are true champions for children’s healthcare and we are excited to have their passionate leadership and help as we involve Arkansans throughout Northwest Arkansas in the Color of Hope Gala.”

During the sixth annual Color of Hope Gala, ACH will pay tribute to Lori and Steve Collins, who served as Color of Hope Gala Chairs for five years. Both Lori and Steve are serving as advisors for this year’s event.

“We remain grateful for Lori and Steve’s dedicated service over the past five years,” says Scarborough. “The Collins have provided strategic leadership since the event’s inception. They have created a wonderful platform for future chairs and ongoing success.”

The Will Golf 4 Kids tournament and the Color of Hope Gala will be held Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23 in Northwest Arkansas.
