On Friday, May 13, Signature Bank of Arkansas unveiled the newest brand in their banking family: Banco Sí! Banco Sí joins the Bank of Brinkley as a Division of Signature Bank of Arkansas.

“We put a considerable amount of thought into the branding of this bank,” said Vice President of Marketing, Tori Bogner. “Ultimately, ’Sí!’ became the perfect choice, not only because it radiates positivity to a segment of the market who has historically been told ‘no’ where finances are concerned, but also because the first two letters of ‘Signature’ are ‘Sí.’” (Sí means “Yes” in Spanish.)

Signature Bank of Arkansas has filed for use of the fictitious name, Banco Sí, at a location pending approval at 114 S 1st Street in historic Downtown Rogers, Arkansas. Built in 1906, the building originally housed Rogers’ first financial institution, The Bank of Rogers. Signature is thrilled Banco Sí, Arkansas’ first dedicated bilingual banking institution, will be located in a space with such a rich history in the Rogers community and financial industry. Plans for the interior of the space will honor the building’s original mahogany features, marble baseboards, and mosaic tile floor.

Banco Sí will be fully staffed by bilingual (English-Spanish) team members equipped to serve new customers to the Banco Sí brand, as well as any existing Signature customer wishing to conduct business in Downtown Rogers. Francisco Herrero, President for Multicultural Banking, will now carry the title President of Banco Sí. As months of planning become reality, Herrero said, “The momentum behind this banking effort is huge. We are doing more than providing translations during transactions –we are providing an immersive experience for minority communities to feel included. We are dedicated to truly serving our communities and look forward to unveiling more details when we are fully open for business.”

A soft opening of Banco Sí! is planned to take place over the summer, with a grand opening to come in September in tandem with Hispanic Heritage Month. An advisory board of 100% Hispanic and Latino members has been identified, and is representative of local and corporate businesses in Northwest Arkansas. Their input will provide insight to the community at large as the bank makes progress with staffing, products, and marketing.
