We love our 2020 3W Magazine cover, created by Sunshine School & Development Center Community Support Client Kelli Nichols!

Kelli created the painting on canvas called “Patchwork Together” in 1.5 hours, and it was part of the school’s A Very Special Art Show in November 2019. Kelli was one of five Community Support Clients who helped make pieces sold in the art show. When we saw the painting, we knew it would be a perfect magazine cover and bought it on the spot!

Leigh Kate Ochieng, one of the staff coordinators for the Community Support program, says having the art featured on the cover means that “our clients are excelling, contributing to their community and becoming more independent day by day.”

“Kelli is very proud of her work.  She loves to paint, make flower arrangements, helps with Snack Packs at Sunshine School, and loves to dance and to swim,” Leigh Kate says. “She is an active member in her community and is excited that her art is featured.”

Kelli says, “There is more to come!” She wants to continue becoming a better artist, producing more artwork and promoting her artwork. Painting helps her relax, focus and process her emotions.
