It’s that time of year again! We’re less than a month away from the annual Will Golf 4 Kids Tournament and first-ever TV broadcast of the annual Color of Hope Gala on KNWA! Both events raise funds for hematology and oncology services at Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW).

There’s still time to get your team together to play in the socially distanced, in-person Will Golf 4 Kids tournament held Thursday, Aug. 4, and Friday, Aug. 5, at Bella Vista Country Club and Kingswood Golf Course.

Then, Saturday, Aug. 6, gather your friends and put on your favorite shade of pink for the 2022 Color of Hope’s virtual gala, chaired by Tamara and John Roberts.

You’ll tune in to KNWA from 7-8 p.m. for the first-ever TV broadcast of the Color of Hope Gala, which will include highlights from the Concert of Hope featuring GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum and CMA New Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen.

You’ll also hear from some of Arkansas Children’s Northwest’s own Healthcare Heroes and learn more about this year’s Champion Child, 5-year-old Carter Harris. Carter was diagnosed with cancer on his 4th birthday in January 2021.

And remember: you don’t have to attend either event to make a donation or participate in the auctions. The online premier and silent auctions will open for pre-bidding on Wednesday, July 27.

You can improve the lives of children in Northwest Arkansas through your support of these two phenomenal events. Past events have raised more than $19 million for children — all of which stays right here in this community to help children, like Carter, who are battling cancer at ACNW.
