It’s that time of year again! We’re less than two weeks away from the annual Will Golf 4 Kids Tournament and virtual Color of Hope Gala!

You can improve the lives of children in Northwest Arkansas and beyond through your support of these two phenomenal events that are raising funds for hematology and oncology services at Arkansas Children’s Northwest. Past events have raised more than $18 million for children — all of which stayed right here in this community.

Your generous support provides care close to home for kids like Abigail and Kendryck, this year’s 2021 Color of Hope Champion Children. Abigail, age 11, was diagnosed with cancer in May 2018. Less than a year later, her brother, Kendryck, age 5, was diagnosed with cancer as well.

Looking to get involved? Here are a few ways:

There’s still time to get your team together to play in the socially distanced, in-person Will Golf 4 Kids tournament held Thursday, Aug. 5, and Friday, Aug. 6, at Bella Vista Country Club and Kingswood Golf Course.

Then, on Saturday, Aug. 7, you can tailgate to make a difference for kids! Gather your friends and put on your favorite jersey for the 2021 Color of Hope Gala’s virtual Tailgate for Kids, chaired by Jennifer and Hunter Yurachek.

For every $5,000 you give, the Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, Inc., will make a $2,000 gift to Arkansas Children’s Northwest in your honor.

Tailgate kits include an amazing food and beverage spread for 10 and access to the virtual program featuring an exclusive halftime performance by Arkansas native and country music superstar Justin Moore, along with an exciting silent and live auction.

Remember: you don’t have to attend either event to make a donation or participate in the auctions. The online live and silent auction will open for pre-bidding Wednesday, July 28. Visit golfandgala.com/auctions to register.
