The best of women’s mountain biking will return to the Mountain Biking Capital of the World™ with the second Women of OZ (WOZ) Sunset Summit fundraiser with tickets on sale now. Nestled in the beautiful Ozark mountains and surrounded by over 250 miles of trails, the 2023 WOZ Sunset Summit will take place at the Momentary, Ledger, and throughout OZ Trails on Sept. 15-17, 2023.

The three-day event will break down barriers for women in cycling and build community with a weekend full of speakers, group rides, workshops, clinics and a shared passion for cycling and most of all for women’s empowerment and connection.

“With help from our dynamic roster of professional coaches, we look forward to an exciting weekend dedicated to getting women from across the region on bikes and breaking down barriers focusing on education, equipment, and intimidation,” Executive Director of WOZ, Lauren Pickman, said. “The beauty of who we are at WOZ Sunset Summit, is we come from all backgrounds, races, beliefs, workplaces, lifestyles, and experiences, but at the end of the day, we love to ride together. We are thrilled to continue what we started last year with the second-ever WOZ Sunset Summit.”

WOZ Sunset Summit welcomes all who identify as a woman, of all backgrounds. Cyclists of all skill levels will find WOZ Sunset Summit as a welcoming place to learn new skills and build confidence while building a community of inspiring women. Spanish-speaking coaches and ASL interpreters will also be available.

Summit goers will learn from an impressive roster of 34 professional coaches from across the country and globe. This year’s lineup features some of the top names in women’s mountain biking including Anneke Beerten, three-time world champion mountain bike racer; Lea Davison, two-time Olympian of the London and Rio games; Anita Naidu, the first professional mountain biker of Indian heritage and among the Most Influential Women in the Outdoors; and many more. The full roster can be found online.
